The Backroads Guide
Will I know how to pose?
You don't have to know a thing. Every session is fully guided from beginning to end. I'll direct everything, from where to put your hands to how to breathe so you can simply enjoy the experience.
What should I wear??
We'll plan your wardrobe together before your session. Whether it's lingerie, a flowing dress, denim, a cozy sweater, or nothing but the river and the light, we'll create a look that fits your story.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. If having a friend, partner, or hype person helps you feel more comfortable, they're welcome to come along unless we're shooting in a location where space or privacy is limited
What if I've never done anything like this before?
Perfect. Most of my clients haven't. You don't need modeling experience, confidence, or the "right body" to create beautiful images. You just need to show up, I take care of the rest.
Do I have to buy prints through you?
No. Your session includes high-resolution digital images, and you're free to print them wherever you'd like. If you'd like heirloom albums or professional wall art, those are available through my online store.
Do you travel?
Yes! Most sessions take place throughout Southwest Wyoming, but I'm always up for an adventure. Travel outside my standard service area or destination sessions may require a custom quote.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Truthfully? Sometimes the best photographs happen when Mother Nature throws us a curveball. Wind, clouds, and even a little rain can create some of the most beautiful, dramatic images.
If the weather becomes unsafe or simply won't allow us to create the experience you're expecting, we'll reschedule at no additional charge.
Will my photos be shared online?
Never without your permission.
Your story belongs to you. While I'm always honored when clients allow me to share their images as part of my portfolio, you are never obligated to do so. Whether you want to shout your session from the rooftops or keep it entirely private, your comfort always comes first.
